ACTIVE MEMBERS:  ELIGIBILITY AND EXPECTATIONS

Eligibility:

• Active Membership is available to a nominated and approved physician dedicated to the purposes of the IAGS
• New and/or Reinstated Active members must:
  • be nominated for Active Membership by an Active Member of the IAGS
  • submit an Active Membership Application along with all required application documents
• The IAGS Board reviews membership applications every two years (February and August)
• You will be notified of the Board’s decision concerning your membership after they complete their review

Expectations:

To maintain Active Membership status, all Active Members must adhere to the following:

• Timely remit payment of any assessed annual membership dues
• Attend at least every other IAGS Biennial Scientific Meeting (minimum attendance 1 meeting every 4 years)
• Active Members are responsible for payment of all member and guest Scientific Meeting registration fees
• Failure to meet any of the above expectations may result in termination of your membership

The International Andreas Gruentzig Society Gold Medal Award is given to members for their Innovation, Science and Clinical Excellence in Interventional Cardiology
