OUTLINE OF IAGS GOVERNANCE

Structure:

There are currently 10 voting members on the IAGS Board. Included in the 10 voting members is an Executive Committee that consists of the following 6 officers:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Program Director
  • Secretary
  • (2) Co-Treasurers

Oversight:

The Executive Committee reviews and makes recommendations to the entire Voting Board on all matters pertaining to policies, finance, scientific meetings, and other matters as outlined in the IAGS Bylaws.  The entire Voting Board then considers the Executive Committee’s recommendations and votes on the matters at hand.
